Applicants must be permanent residents of and physically present in Canada for at least 1,095 days (three years) during the five (5) year period preceding the submission of their application.
-
Applicants must no longer be present in Canada for at least 183 days in each qualifying year.
-
Applicants between the ages of eighteen (18) and fifty-four (54) must meet basic knowledge and language requirements.
-
Adult applicants must no longer declare their intent to reside in Canada once they become citizens.
